For the Residents of North Dundas and brought to you, free of charge, by the Chesterville & District, Mountain & District and Winchester Lions Clubs located in North Dundas, Ontario.

When time is saved, lives are saved!!

Message in a Bottle is a voluntary program for anyone living at home who may feel reassured to know that essential information is readily available to First Responders should there be an medical emergency at home.  Some illnesses cause confusion or affect our ability to communicate effectively. It only takes a little imagination to figure out many reasons why this program might be for you!

When Emergency Services see medical information and personal details of a patient, they can render safer and speedier First Aid by cutting time-consuming fact-finding inquiries about the patient.

How it works

There are only 4 easy steps

Step one:  Visit one of the locations listed below to pick up your free kit

Step two:  Complete the provided medical information sheet. HINT: Ask your pharmacist for a medication printout and use that instead of writing out your medications!

Step Three:  Fold the form and prescription printout and place it into the vial and place it in your fridge on a door shelf

Step Four:  Please one of the provided decals on the fridge door and one inside your main house door at eye level.
These decals let the Paramedics or Firefighters responding to an emergency to look for your information inside the fridge!
